| D52 class was the most powerful steam locomotive in JNR that uses it for a freight train. This locomotives is so heavy and large. This locomotives were able to use only a major line. A main major line was turned into electrification or a Diesel early. Therefore this locomotives use part were limited. This D52335 was built by Kisha-Seizo in Nov. 1944 and was used with Tokaido mainline. The last belonged in Kozu depot and was used until Aug. 1968 with Gotenba line. After that it was left in JNR Omiya Works. In March 1971 the D52335 was dismantled. |
