Preserved Steam Locomotives (Sugar Railway) in Taiwan

This page introduces steam locomotives preserved by the Taiwan Sugar Corporation across various locations in Taiwan. We hope this information will be useful when planning your visit. The provided Google Maps links are intended to indicate the exact locations where each locomotive is preserved whenever possible. Please note that there may be alternative public transport routes such as buses, so we recommend checking the latest information before your trip. Additionally, rental bicycles (Ubike), which are widely available throughout Taiwan, are very convenient not only within sugar factory areas but also for exploring disused railway tracks and surrounding areas.
