| The 4 cars of KD55 class was scrapped and left in the Kunming Bei station. The Condition is very bad and they seems as waiting to rot. About 250 cars of JNR 9600 class were offered to the Japan army at the time of Japan-China War. They changed from 1067mm gauge to 1435mm and went to China. After the war the locomotives that remained in China became the KD5 class of China National Railways. However, they are a small size compared with other China locomotives. Therefore they are changed to 1000mm gauge and worked in Yunnan narrow gauge railway. |
