| It is the sole electric locomotive in this railroad park. The 18 cars of ED16 class was built by Kawasaki, Hitachi, Toshiba and Mitsubishi in between 1931 and 1932. It is the one of domestic built electric locomotive an early period in Japan. ED16 1 was built by Mitsubishi in 1931. And used until 1982. He was used with this railway park nearby Oume line. It has come to be preserved in this park by the request of the citizen of Oume city when it was abolished. |
